Rapid Consumption

Backstory:
Formed in the gritty back alleys of Detroit in 2012, ‘Rapid Consumption’ is a band that was borne out of the shared struggle and mutual passion for music of four childhood friends. Initially, they were just four kids with mismatched instruments, but their raw talent and sheer determination soon caught the attention of local music enthusiasts. They were discovered by a small recording agency during a local battle of the bands competition and quickly gained recognition for their unique sound and evocative lyrics. The band members include lead vocalist and bassist, Jimmy “Bones” Jackson, guitarist, Steve “Razor” Ramirez, drummer, Benny “Boom” Saunders, and keyboardist, Danny “Keys” Anderson.

Genre:
Rapid Consumption has carved out a niche in the Punk Rock genre, combining the raw energy of early punk with the melodic elements of pop and a dash of progressive rock. Their music is an intense, yet harmonious blend of heavy guitar riffs, powerful drum beats, throbbing bass lines and synth melodies that reflect their struggle, rebellion, and social commentary.

“Rapid Consumption is my all-time favorite band because their music speaks to me on a level that other bands just don’t. Their lyrics tell stories that reflect my own experiences and struggles, and their sound is just so raw and authentic, it’s like they’ve distilled the essence of rebellion into music. Each member brings their unique energy and talent to the table, but it’s their synergy that really sets them apart. I’ve followed them from their hometown gigs to their national tours – their passion is infectious and their music is just pure fire.”
