Backstory:
Rapid Period, the notorious four-piece band hailing from the heart of Manchester, UK, was formed in the summer of 2011. Members Benji “Quickfire” Quinn, Theo “Tempo” Raine, Lenny “Accelerato” Gibson, and “Beat” Nick Harper discovered their mutual love for music while attending the same high school. The band’s name, Rapid Period, was inspired by their shared desire to create music that reflects the fast-paced times we live in. From practicing in their parents’ garages to headlining at major festivals, their journey has been nothing short of a rock ‘n’ roll rollercoaster ride.
Their first break came when they won a local battle of the bands competition, catching the attention of a local record label. From there, they’ve released three critically acclaimed albums and have toured extensively across Europe and North America, building a dedicated fan base along the way. Their music, often described as a blend of nostalgia and anticipation, chronicles the joys, fears, and hopes of a generation navigating through rapid changes.
