Backstory:
Rash Language was formed one summer in the bustling city of New York in 2011. Childhood friends, Alex Moyer on vocals and guitar, Brad Kipper on drums and Dan Leyland on Bass, met up after college to pursue their common love for music. They picked up their respective instruments and started playing in Alex’s father’s garage. They named themselves ‘Rash Language’ as they were often told they spoke rashly without thinking, and they found it to be the same with their music – raw, passionate, spontaneous, and unapologetic.
They started playing at local gigs, open mics, and music festivals, focusing mainly on their own compositions. Their music soon garnered a positive response from the audience, and Rash Language decided to move forward by recording their first album. Their unfiltered thoughts, youthful exuberance, and raw energy captured in their tracks made them a local favorite and a band to look out for.
