Backstory:
Raw Hotel is a band that emerged from the underground music scene in Seattle, Washington. The four members, lead singer Jake Daniels, guitarist Mike Foster, drummer Sam Malone, and bassist Bill “Billy” Thompson, all met while working in various roles at a run-down hotel on the outskirts of the city. Inspired by the raw, unfiltered experiences they witnessed and lived through, they decided to channel their collective frustration and creativity into music, thus giving birth to Raw Hotel.
The band quickly gained a reputation in the local music scene for their gritty lyrics, high-energy performances, and the unmistakable bond they had on stage, a testament to their shared experiences at the hotel. Garnering a cult following initially, Raw Hotel gradually started catching the attention of mainstream audiences and record labels.
