Backstory:

Realistic Oil was born in the gritty heart of Manchester’s underground music scene in the early 2010s. The band’s founding members, Alec (vocals/guitar), Holly (drums/backup vocals), and Liam (bass/keyboard), met at a local pub’s open mic night, each performing solo until fate brought them together. They realized their shared love for music that was raw, emotional, and unfiltered, thus giving birth to the eclectic trio known as Realistic Oil.

The band made their mark in the indie music scene with their honest lyrics and unconventional sound, which often reflected the harsh realities of the world. Despite facing significant challenges, the trio continued to push the boundaries of their music, drawing inspiration from everyday life and experiences. Their dedication soon paid off as they gained a loyal fan base who resonated with their authentic sound.
