Reasonable Frog

Backstory:

Reasonable Frog was formed in 2008 by a group of high school friends from a small town in Wisconsin. The members – lead vocalist, James “Jazz” Johnson, drummer, Woody “Frog” Harts, guitarist, Taylor “Tails” Robinson, and bassist, Liam “Lizard” Harris – initially didn’t know what they were getting into. They all shared a growing passion for music and a burning desire to avoid a 9-to-5 life. After years of playing in garages, small local venues, and truck-loads of perseverance, Reasonable Frog finally managed to get a modest record deal in 2013. Despite their humble beginnings, the band has since conquered hearts globally with their unique style and charm.

Title:

“Midnight Monsoon”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Em C
As the clock strikes midnight, under the pale moon light,
G D
I walk alone, lost in the echoes of time,
Em C
Like a monsoon in the midnight, your memory takes flight,
G D
Unleashing the storm within this heart of mine.

(Chorus)
Em C
Midnight Monsoon, won’t you wash away,
G D
The lingering whispers of our yesterday,
Em C
Underneath your tears, let my heart sway,
G D
Midnight Monsoon, carry me away.

(Verse 2)
Em C
In the silence of the darkness, beneath the starry canvas,
G D
I dance alone, to our forgotten melody,
Em C
With every drop you fall, I feel your cold caress,
G D
A haunting serenade of our lost symphony.

(Chorus)
Em C
Midnight Monsoon, won’t you wash away,
G D
The lingering whispers of our yesterday,
Em C
Underneath your tears, let my heart sway,
G D
Midnight Monsoon, carry me away.

(Outro)
Em C
Midnight Monsoon, in your silent song,
G D
I find a place where I belong,
Em C
With each drop you fall, right or wrong,
G D
Midnight Monsoon, with you I am strong.

Joanne Mitchell Testimonial:

“I’ve been a fan of Reasonable Frog since their debut album. Their music speaks directly to my soul. It’s like they’ve decoded the deepest, most complex feelings of human existence and turned them into melodies. ‘Midnight Monsoon’ is my favorite track. It’s a beautiful metaphor for dealing with grief and moving on. I connect with it on so many levels. It’s not just a song for me, it’s a therapy. Reasonable Frog isn’t just a band to me, they’re a beacon of light in a world that often feels dark.”
