Backstory:
Born out of the vibrant and eclectic music scene in Portland, Oregon, ‘Reasonable Pot’ is a band that first came together in the summer of 2008. The four band members – Leon, Pete, Jack, and Mikey – met while working at a local coffee shop: The Funky Brewster. It was there that they discovered their shared love for music and began jamming together after hours. With Leon on vocals and guitar, Pete on bass, Jack on drums, and Mikey on keyboards, they soon found a unique sound that transcended the norm. They dubbed themselves ‘Reasonable Pot’, inspired by their shared belief in the balance of life and their habit of having a ‘reasonable’ pot of coffee during their jam sessions.

Title:
“Jaded Yet Faded”
Full song lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[D] I found a [G] letter in my [A] coat
[D] Remnants of [G] words you [A] wrote
[D] On a winter’s [G] day, when [A] love meant more
[D] Now we’re [G] jaded yet [A] faded, love’s a [D] lore.
(Chorus)
[D] Jaded yet [G] faded, [A] miles away
[D] Echoes of [G] laughter, [A] love’s sweet play
[D] You were my [G] sunbeam, [A] my morning ray
[D] Now we’re [G] jaded yet [A] faded, love’s [D] astray.
(Verse 2)
[D] Your voice [G] like a whisper [A] in the wind
[D] A fleeting [G] memory, [A] love’s sweet sin
[D] We danced in [G] moonlight, [A] stars our floor
[D] Now we’re [G] jaded yet [A] faded, love’s [D] no more.
(Chorus)
[D] Jaded yet [G] faded, [A] dreams undone
[D] Traces of [G] kisses, [A] love’s sweet run
[D] You were my [G] starlight, [A] my setting sun
[D] Now we’re [G] jaded yet [A] faded, love [D] has run.

Testimonial:
“I fell in love with Reasonable Pot at one of their early gigs. Their sound is so raw, so real. I’ve never heard anything like it. Their lyrics hit you right in the heart and the music just carries you away. It’s like they’re telling your life’s story through their songs. ‘Jaded Yet Faded’ is my absolute favorite – it’s hauntingly beautiful. They’re more than just a band to me, they’re the soundtrack to my life.”
