Reasonable Train

Backstory:

Reasonable Train was formed in Asheville, North Carolina, in 2011. The band initially began as a side project for lead singer Simon Thornton, who wanted a creative outlet outside his job as a train conductor. The project quickly gathered speed when he started jamming with local musicians: bassist Lisa Gold, drummer Daniel Grey, and guitarist Matthew Brown. Their shared love for music and life on the rails soon turned into a serious commitment, and Reasonable Train was born. The band’s unique sound, a blend of folk rock with a touch of bluegrass and country, tells tales of the road, longing, and life’s journey.
