Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[C] Looking in your [G] eyes, I see the [Am] pain, the [Em] hidden lies
[C] Underneath the [G] smiles, there’s a [Am] war, a [Em] troubled mind
[C] You’re holding [G] on, but [Am] I can’t [Em] fight your battles
(Chorus)
[F] One last glance, [C] I’ll remember [G] you
[F] In the dance, [C] of love we [G] once knew
[F] Keep these memories, [C] they’ll help you [G] through
[F] One last glance, [C] I’m still [G] here with you
(Verse 2)
[C] Time will heal the [G] scars, but [Am] I’ll always [Em] be your star
[C] Even if we’re [G] apart, our [Am] love remains [Em] in our hearts
[C] It’s not a [G] goodbye, [Am] it’s a [Em] see you again
(Chorus)
[F] One last glance, [C] I’ll remember [G] you
[F] In the dance, [C] of love we [G] once knew
[F] Keep these memories, [C] they’ll help you [G] through
[F] One last glance, [C] I’m still [G] here with you
Yeah, [F] one last glance, [C] I’m still [G] here with you
The band’s favorite fan’s name and why and how this band is their favorite:
The band’s favorite fan is Jenny Thompson. She has been with them since their first local gig in Boston. Jenny says, “I fell in love with Rectangular Observation’s music the first time I heard them play. Their lyrics seem to capture the raw emotions that we often struggle to express. They don’t just make music; they create an experience, a story that resonates with me on a personal level. It’s this honesty, this vulnerability in their music that makes them my favorite band. Their song ‘One Last Glance’ helped me through a tough breakup, and for that, I’ll always be grateful.”
