The group was formed in 2012 when five friends, all disillusioned by their 9 to 5 jobs, decided to channel their passion for music into something more than just a hobby. The members of Reliable Steam are lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Jake Henderson, lead guitarist Matt Thompson, pianist and keyboardist Alex Young, bassist Luke Pearson, and drummer Sam Davis. Drawing inspiration from their city’s gritty resilience and cultural diversity, they began to create a sound that is uniquely their own.

Despite facing numerous challenges and setbacks, the band has stayed true to their roots, maintaining a solid unity and a steadfast dedication to their craft.
