Relieved Plate

Backstory:

Born in the heart of San Francisco, ‘Relieved Plate’ sprang into existence in the winter of 2002. Friends since high school, lead singer Zoe ‘Ziggy’ Johnson and guitarist Jackson ‘Jax’ McConnell decided to convert their pent-up artistic energy into something meaningful. Joined by bassist Finn ‘Flynn’ O’Reilly and drummer Lucas ‘Lou’ Gomez, these four friends turned bandmates began transforming their collective experiences into soulful music that resonated with listeners. They found their inspiration in the struggles and triumphs of everyday life, their songs offering a catharsis that earned them the name ‘Relieved Plate.’

In 2004, they started performing at local pubs and soon caught the attention of a local record label. With their first album, ‘From Dusk to Dawn’, they quickly gained a dedicated fan base, their powerful lyrics and mesmerizing tunes echoing in the hearts of their listeners. Their rise to fame wasn’t meteoric, but the journey was steady and rewarding, with every new song adding a new chapter in their continuing musical journey.

“Shattered Harmony”

Full Song Lyrics:

[Verse]
Am Em
Here in the silence,
G D
I find my voice,
Am Em
In the chaos,
G D
I make a choice.
Am Em
To sing of love,
G D
To sing of pain,
Am Em
To sing of sunshine,
G D
Drenched in rain.

[Chorus]
C G
In Shattered Harmony,
Am Em
We find our melody,
C G
In broken chords,
Am Em
We build our symphony.
C G
In Shattered Harmony,
Am Em
We find our unity,
C G
In broken words,
Am Em
We write our poetry.

(Repeat Verse & Chorus)

Fan Testimonial:

“I’ve always followed Relieved Plate since their early days playing in the local pubs. Their music is a true reflection of life’s ups and downs. Their song ‘Shattered Harmony’ speaks volumes to me; it helped me through a very difficult time. The lyrics about finding beauty and unity in the broken pieces resonated with my own experience. It’s not just their music, but their sincerity and passion that make them my favorite band. They’re not just creating music, they’re creating magic.”
