Backstory:

Required Exclusion is an eccentric group of four musicians who met at a music therapy retreat in the mountains of Colorado. The members, all coming from vastly different backgrounds – a former classical pianist, a punk rock guitarist, a jazz drummer, and a folk singer, found solace and common ground in music. They began creating their unique sound during impromptu late-night jam sessions at the retreat, exploring diverse genres and influences. Their name, Required Exclusion, is a reflection of their journey of finding peace and creativity in isolation.

Genre:

Their music is best described as progressive rock blended with elements of jazz, punk, and folk, creating a sound that is both energetic and soulful, melancholic yet uplifting.

Title:
