Backstory:

Required Shirt was formed in 2010 in a small college dorm room in Oregon. The founding members, Josh Anderson, Mark Lee, Sandy Rivers, and Ethan Richards were studying different majors but shared a mutual love for music. The story behind the band’s name traces back to a funny incident that occurred during their freshman year. After an unforgettable night of frolicking and fun, Josh woke up at a stranger’s apartment only wearing a shirt, hence the name ‘Required Shirt’. This incident became a joke among them and when they finally decided to form a band, they didn’t have to think twice about the name. Over the years, they’ve endeared themselves to fans with their witty lyrics, energetic performances, and down-to-earth personalities.
