Backstory:
Ringed Jean is a group of four close-knit lads from the outskirts of Liverpool. The band was formed in 2011 when they were all studying in the same university. The lead vocalist, Howard, was studying literature, and his love for poetry prompted him to pick up songwriting. The other members, Barry on guitar, Stuart on bass, and Tom on drums, were engineering students who found a delightful escape in music from their rigorous academics. They began by playing at small college gigs, and their unique style gradually gained them a fan following. Their big break came when a local radio station played their demo, and they caught the attention of a major record label.
