Backstory:
Robust Captain is an American rock band that was formed in a small garage in New Jersey in 2009. The band members, Dave Parker (vocals), Joe Harrison (lead guitar), Mike Anderson (bass), and Kevin Carr (drums), have been best friends since their high school days. Their bond grew stronger with shared dreams of music stardom, which led them to form Robust Captain. They named their band in honor of their high school football coach, who they affectionately called “Captain,” for his robust personality and unwavering support.

After several small gigs in local venues, Robust Captain gained recognition for their raw, energetic performances and heartfelt lyrics. They released their debut album in 2013, and it was an instant hit. Today, they are one of the most loved rock bands, with a dedicated fanbase that spans across the country.
