Rotating Furniture

Backstory:
Rotating Furniture is the brainchild of four high school friends, Mike Hundley, Scott Stewart, Jenny Owen and Ted Freeman, who shared an intense passion for music. Bound by their mutual love for all things quirky and creative, they decided to form a band during their freshman year at Rhode Island School of Design, naming it after a peculiar local landmark – a rotating furniture store sign that had become a staple in their town.

After their graduation in 2005, they continued to produce music, honing their unique sound in dingy garages and local clubs. The idea was always to create something different, something that would bring color to the monotonous music landscape. Their big break came after their extraordinary performance at a local festival, which was spotted by a talent scout from a record label in New York. From then on, the band’s popularity exploded, and they’ve been churning out hits ever since.

Title:
“Dizzy Shadows”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
[C] Underneath the [Em] moonlight, [Am] spinning in the [G] haze,
[C] Our hearts are [Em] pounding, in a [Am] rhythm, in a [G] craze.
[C] Like the rotating [Em] furniture, we [Am] turn around and [G] sway,
[C] Lost in our [Em] illusions, as we [Am] dance the night [G] away.

(Chorus)
[C] Dizzy shadows, [Em] keep us twirling, [Am] in our dreams, we’re [G] whirling,
[C] Round and round, we’re [Em] lost and found, in [Am] love’s enchanting [G] playground.
[C] In the dance of [Em] life, we’re spinning, [Am] with every end, a [G] new beginning,
[C] Dizzy shadows, [Em] keep us twirling, [Am] round and round, in [G] love, we’re swirling.

(Verse 2)
[C] In the flickering [Em] neon light, [Am] we trace our [G] silhouettes,
[C] The world keeps [Em] turning, but for [Am] now, we have no [G] regrets.
[C] Like the rotating [Em] furniture, we [Am] find our rhythm [G] set,
[C] In the dance of [Em] love, we’re [Am] lost, in [G] dreams, we’re met.

(Repeat Chorus)
