Rowdy Wound

1. Backstory:

Rowdy Wound emerged from the heartland of Nashville, Tennessee, in 2010. Four childhood friends, Nolan “Noisy” Carter (lead vocals/guitar), Jake “Raging” Rogers (drums), Liam “Loud” Lewis (bass), and Max “Mad” Mitchell (lead guitar), all shared a profound passion for music and an undying itch for creating a unique sound. The band’s name, Rowdy Wound, was inspired by a phrase Noisy’s grandfather, a WWII veteran, would use to describe his old war injury – a symbol of surviving tough times and emerging stronger.

The band’s early days comprised of countless practice sessions in Noisy’s basement and energetic performances at local bars and high school functions. Their unique blend of music quickly caught the attention of local radio stations, eventually leading to a record deal in 2013. Since then, they’ve toured all over the U.S., sharing their music and high-spirited energy with adoring fans.

[G]Down in the valley, where the [C]wild river flows,

[D]Underneath the moonlight, our [G]souls did meet.

(Chorus)
[C] Shotgun heartbeat, a [G]wild open ride,
[D] Love’s a fierce battle, with [G]nowhere to hide.
[C] Running through the night, with [G]no end in sight,
[D] With you by my side, I’ll [G]fight the good fight.

(Verse 2)
[G]We stole kisses, under [C]an old oak tree,
[D]With the rustling leaves, our [G]only decree.

[D]In this crazy world, she’s [G]my lifeline.
