Born out of the heartland of rural Alabama, “Rural Tomatoe” is an eclectic trio that grew up working on their parent’s tomato farms. The band members, Johnny B, Zeke, and Ellie, found solace and inspiration in the rhythmic sounds of their everyday rural life – the hum of the tractor, the whisper of the wind through the tomato vines, and the beat of their hearts longing for something more. They banded together in high school, initially as a way to escape the monotony of farm life, but soon discovered a shared passion for music. Together, they embarked on an unexpected journey to transform their experiences into soulful tunes, painting a vivid picture of rural America.
