Backstory:
Self-Assured Sister, a band of five fiercely talented women, was formed in 2017 in the vibrant city of New Orleans. The band members, who met while studying music at Tulane University, found a common bond in their shared passion for feminism and empowerment. This passion, coupled with their exceptional musical talent, became the basis for Self-Assured Sister. As they started playing university gigs, they quickly gained a reputation for their powerful performances and inspiring lyrics, leading to a dedicated fan base that spans the globe.

The band members include lead vocalist and guitarist, Emily; bass guitarist, Ruby; drummer, Jane; keyboardist, Sue; and violinist, Lily. Each one brings something unique to the band, creating a harmonious blend of diverse musical influences.
