Backstory:
Formed in the bustling heart of Cleveland, Ohio, in 2011, Self-Assured Topic was born out of the shared passion for music by its four members, lead vocalist Marcus Jenkins, lead guitarist Nicky Peterson, bassist Oliver Thompson, and drummer Daniel Cohen. The group started as a garage band, practicing and performing at local open mic nights and small-scale music festivals. Their dedication to their craft and unique sound soon began to attract attention.
In 2013, they were discovered by a small independent record label at one of their gigs, and their journey to the top of the charts began. They’ve since released three albums and toured extensively across the United States and Europe, winning over audiences with their poignant lyrics, infectious energy, and undeniable chemistry on stage.
