Backstory:
Selfish Incident was formed on a rainy afternoon in the basement of an old, disheveled house in downtown Seattle in 2011. The band’s four members — lead vocalist and guitarist Henry Thompson, bassist Andrew Baker, drummer Sarah Reynolds, and keyboardist Mark Peterson — met at a local record shop and discovered their shared passion for music that bucked the mainstream trends of the time. Their common disillusionment with the music industry’s hollow promises and their shared desire to create music that was raw and honest quickly bonded them. Armed with a DIY spirit, and blending their diverse influences, they embarked on a musical journey that would see them take the indie rock scene by storm.
