Backstory:
Separate Geese is a quartet formed in the small, quiet town of Newbury, Vermont. The band members, childhood friends who grew up together, shared a mutual passion for music and the arts. Their band name, a quirky phrase coined from their shared pastime of watching geese fly overhead during their jam sessions, symbolizes their belief in the power of individuality and freedom. Their musical journey kicked off in local bars, gradually expanding to music festivals and larger venues as their fanbase grew.
As high school friends, they often spent their free time jamming in makeshift garages, honing their skills and developing their unique sound. After graduation, despite taking separate paths in life, they decided to return to their roots and formed Separate Geese. Over the years, their bond strengthened, and their music matured, retaining the raw authenticity that their fans loved, while also evolving into a more polished and well-rounded sound.

“Fly, Not Fall”
Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Em G
Under the cobalt sky, we sing our dreams,
D C
Watch the geese take flight, in seamless streams.
Em G
Through the winds of change, they glide so high,
D C
Majestic in their flight, no need to try.
(Chorus)
Em G
So we learn to fly, not fall,
D C
Rise above it all, stand tall.
Em G
Like separate geese, we soar free,
D C
In our song, we find unity.
(Verse 2)
Em G
In the quiet town, our story unfolds,
D C
With melodies and laughter, our bond holds.
Em G
In our hearts, the rhythm beats,
D C
In the harmony of life, our song repeats.
(Chorus)

So we learn to fly, not fall,
D C
Rise above it all, stand tall.
Em G
Like separate geese, we soar free,
D C
In our song, we find unity.
