Backstory:
Separate Shoe is an eclectic mix of five school friends who found their passion in music while still in the bustling hallways of their high school in Memphis, Tennessee. The band was officially formed in 2010 when they won their first battle of the bands competition, showcasing their unique sound. Despite their different musical backgrounds, the band members found a common thread in their love for progressive blues and decided to incorporate it into their sound, giving birth to a quirky, soulful yet experimental genre.
