Backstory:
Several Clash is a band that was formed in the bohemian quarters of New York City in 2014. The band members, Joe and Sam, were both struggling musicians who met at an open-mic night in Greenwich Village. They were both struck by the unique quality of each other’s music, and despite their differences in style, they decided to band together and create something new. They were joined by a young drummer, Adam, who was studying music at the NYC School of Music and had a passion for fusing different rhythms. The band’s name, Several Clash, was borne out of the sometimes-chaotic blend of their varied music styles.
The band had a slow start and after playing in various small venues, they finally got their big break during a Battle of the Bands competition in 2016. Their unique sound and raw energy stole the show and they were signed to a record label. The band’s eclectic style and refusal to be boxed into a single genre are what truly sets them apart.
