Backstory:
Several Security was formed in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia in 2010. The band initially comprised of high school friends – lead vocalist James Monroe, lead guitarist Max Roberts, bassist Tim Lawless, and drummer Ryan Hudson. All members worked as security personnel in various establishments around the city before they decided to channel their shared love for music into something more ambitious. The name “Several Security” was a nod to their past and a reminder of their roots. Their journey started in local bars, where they would play after the closing hours. It wasn’t long before their unique sound started creating a buzz in the local music scene.
Their big break came when their demo tape landed in the hands of an executive at a prominent indie record label during a trip to New York. Impressed by their raw talent and unique perspective, the label immediately signed them. Several Security has since released three chart-topping albums and toured internationally, gaining a dedicated fan base along the way. Despite their success, the band remains grounded, often playing surprise gigs in their old haunts back in Atlanta.
