Backstory:
Shady Sneeze emerged from the smoke-filled basements of San Francisco in the late ’90s. The band, made up of childhood friends, Tim “Thimble” Thompson on guitar and vocals, Benny “Blastbeat” Barnes on drums, and “Sly” Sam Smith on bass and backup vocals, started as a rebellious rebellion against the pop wave that was engulfing the music industry. They had a clear aim; they wanted to bring back the raw, unadulterated sound of old-school rock, blending it with the spirit of punk and the depth of blues. Their journey was not smooth; they struggled, they hustled, but they never lost their faith in the power of music. They believe in the magic that reverberates from every strum, every beat, and every note, connecting souls and telling stories that words often fail to capture.
