Formed in the vibrant streets of Berlin in 2012, Shimmering German is a group of five musicians who came together through an enchanting blend of fate, shared passion, and a collective desire to create something spectacularly unique. The band members, Franz, Ludwig, Heidi, Dieter, and Wolfgang, each having diverse musical backgrounds, found common ground in their love for experimentation and unorthodox soundscapes. The name Shimmering German is a nod to their roots, their fondness for the extraordinary, and their aspiration to shine brightly in the global music scene.
Known for their impromptu street performances and powerful underground gigs, it didn’t take long for them to establish a dedicated fan base.
