Backstory:
Shoddy Low emerged from the foggy outskirts of Sheffield, England, in 2007. The quartet is made up of childhood friends – lead vocalist and guitarist, Ethan Stone, drummer Jake Blackburn, bassist Liam Hollis, and keyboardist Oliver Thompson. They spent their teenage years in grungy garages and dimly-lit basements, honing their sound and building a loyal local following. Their big break came in 2011 when their self-released EP caught the attention of indie music titan, Jack White, who quickly signed them to his label, Third Man Records.

Driven by a shared love of punk rock and blues, Shoddy Low became known for their raw, unpolished sound and electrifying live performances. Over the years, they’ve released four studio albums, with critics often comparing their gritty sound to bands like The White Stripes and Queens of the Stone Age. Despite their growing acclaim, the band remains grounded, often returning to their garage roots for inspiration.
