Backstory:
Short Air was born in the boisterous streets of London in 1996, formed by four schoolmates – Dan Thompson (vocals), Mark Summers (guitar), Neil Lewis (bass), and Rob Ford (drums). These friends discovered their shared love for music during their high school talent show, where they performed for the first time together, causing an unexpected sensation. Encouraged by the enthusiastic response, they started practicing in Summers’ basement, gradually developing their unique musical style. Their band name, ‘Short Air’, represents the defining moment when they realized their shared passion for music was not just a fleeting phase but a lifelong commitment.
