Backstory:

Simplistic Claim first formed in a small, quiet town in North Dakota. High school friends – lead vocalist and guitarist Joel Roberts, bass guitarist Mike Daniels, and drummer Sam Thompson – decided that rather than following the conventional path of going to college or getting day jobs, they wanted to pursue their passion for music. After graduation, they converted Joel’s parents’ garage into their makeshift studio and began their journey with nothing but their instruments, a love for music, and uninterrupted conviction. After numerous performances at local bars, and a few years of relentless efforts, they caught the attention of a record label executive, which led to their first contract and a life-changing career in the music industry.
