Backstory:
Formed in the bustling streets of Montreal, Canada, in 2011, Snoopy Subsidiary is a band that was born out of a shared love for music and a mutual admiration for the iconic comic strip, ‘Peanuts.’ The founding members, lead vocalist Mark O’Brien and guitarist Gerard Hopkins, were working in a local comic book store when they discovered their shared interest. Soon enough, they recruited drummer Nancy Sullivan and bassist Tim Grant from the local music scene, and Snoopy Subsidiary was born.

Snoopy Subsidiary quickly gained recognition playing in small venues and local music festivals, drawing in fans with their unique sound and quirky, comic-strip inspired aesthetics. Their passion for music and ‘Peanuts’ was infectious, making them a local favorite. The band’s rise in fame was solidified when they won the annual ‘Underground Montreal’ music competition in 2013, paving their way to a successful music career.
