Soggy Need

Backstory:
Soggy Need was formed in a rain-drenched basement in the heart of Boston, Massachusetts, in 2012. The founding members, Keith “Sticks” Sullivan and Bobby “Bass” Malone, were university roommates, bonded by their shared love for music and late-night jamming sessions. They decided to form a band and started playing at local bars, quickly gaining a loyal following. Soggy Need expanded with the addition of fiery vocalist, Rita “Riffs” O’Neal, and eccentric keyboardist, Danny “Digits” Keegan. With their eclectic mix of backgrounds and music influences, they created a unique sound that resonated with music fans around the city and beyond.

“Drenched in Dreams”

Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[G] Wandering through the [Em] city lights,
[C] All wrapped up in the [D] dead of night.
[G] Alone, but not lonely, [Em] lost, but not afraid,
[C] I’m just a wanderer, [D] caught up in the haze.

(Chorus)
[G] Drenched in dreams, [Em] soaked in sorrow,
[C] Waiting for the [D] promise of tomorrow.
[G] Just a ship, [Em] lost at sea,
[C] Trying to find my [D] destiny.

(Verse 2)
[G] Strumming on a [Em] broken string,
[C] Searching for a [D] tune to sing.
[G] Chasing shadows, [Em] chasing the sun,
[C] The journey’s just begun. [D]

(Chorus)
[G] Drenched in dreams, [Em] soaked in sorrow,
[C] Waiting for the [D] promise of tomorrow.
[G] Just a ship, [Em] lost at sea,
[C] Trying to find my [D] destiny.

(Bridge)
[Em] Here in the silence [C] of the night,
[D] I find my solace, [G] I find my light.
[Em] Drenched in dreams, [D] I’ve found my way,
[G] To a brand new [C] day.

(Chorus)
[G] Drenched in dreams, [Em] soaked in sorrow,
[C] Waiting for the [D] promise of tomorrow.
[G] Just a ship, [Em] lost at sea,
[C] Trying to find my [D] destiny.
