Backstory:

Soggy Particle is a four-piece ensemble that started out as an experimental project in a dingy basement in Brooklyn, New York in 2014. The members, Micah “Mic” Dennings (vocals and guitar), Julian “Jules” Sawyer (drums), Lisa “Liz” Copeland (bass), and Adam “Addy” Franklin (keyboard), were all high school friends who shared a love for music that defied the conventional norms. They found their initial inspiration from the various art installations and obscure performances that they would frequent in the city, which then they decided to incorporate into their music.

The group started gaining attention in their local scene for their unique sound and high energy performances. Their breakthrough moment came when a music blogger who attended their gig published a rave review about them, which soon got them noticed by a wider audience. Despite the sudden influx of fame, Soggy Particle remain dedicated to pushing the boundaries of music, always trying to ensure that each song is a unique experience for the listener.
