Sophisticated Gaze, the indie folk-rock band, was formed in the vibrant music scene of Austin, Texas, in 2010. The band consists of high school friends, Josiah Peters (lead vocals, guitar), Elisa Webb (violin, vocals), Matty Rogers (bass), and Derek Stuart (drums). Their major breakthrough came in 2013 when they were spotted by a talent scout at a local music festival. Since then, they’ve toured across the country, captivating audiences with their poignant lyrics and vibrant sound.
