Jill, the lead vocalist and guitarist, was a writer who found music as a way to express her thoughts. Tom, the drummer, was an architect who saw rhythm in everything. Amy, the bassist, was a painter who visualized music in colors, and finally, Richard, the keyboardist, was a wildlife photographer who brought in the element of raw, untamed wilderness into their music. Their music, much like their lives, became a seamless blend of sophistication and the raw, wild nature.

They started as a local band performing in small gigs and slowly gained popularity for their unique sound.
