Sore Cloud

Backstory:
Formed in the bustling heart of New York City, Sore Cloud emerged from the ethereal mist of the underground music scene in the late 2010s. The band was a spontaneous symphony of five talented musicians who were all part of different bands but were unsatisfied with their current musical directions. They gravitated towards each other, a magnetic force of shared passion and vision, and Sore Cloud was born. Their name was inspired by their shared struggles as artists, symbolizing the pain and hardship that often clouds the journey of individuals pursuing their dreams. Despite the bittersweet name, Sore Cloud is all about optimism, perseverance, and the beauty that can be found even in the midst of turbulence.

Genre:
Sore Cloud’s music is best described as Progressive Indie Rock. They blend elements of rock, indie folk, and experimental sounds to create a unique, evocative, and emotionally-charged sound that resonates with their listeners.

Title:
“One Last Sunset”

Full song lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Em C
In the world’s crashing noise, I found silence,
G D
In your eyes, I found a whole universe,
Em C
Our hearts beating, a secret alliance,
G D
In this chaos, I found my verse.

(Chorus)
Am Em
We’ll chase one last sunset,
C D
Before the sky falls under the weight of regret,
Am Em
Across the horizon, where our dreams met
C D
In the fading light, we’ll silhouette.

(Verse 2)
Em C
Every echo of laughter, every tear we shed,
G D
Woven into the melody of our shared song,
Em C
In twilight’s arms, where fears are laid to bed,
G D
With you, I know I belong.

(Chorus)
Am Em
We’ll chase one last sunset,
C D
Before the night steals away the day, yet,
Am Em
In the twilight haze, no room for regret,
C D
Together, we’ll silhouette.

Fan’s Favorite Testimonial:
Fan’s name is Jordan Scott, a long-time follower of Sore Cloud. “For me, Sore Cloud isn’t just a band, they’re poets, artists, storytellers. Their music is like a balm to the soul, a refuge from the everyday chaos. ‘One Last Sunset’ particularly hits home for me. It tells a story of connection, transience, and the poignancy of shared moments. It’s such a raw and emotional expression that it’s hard not to connect with it. Sore Cloud’s music has always been a constant companion, a soundtrack to my own journey, and for that, they will always be my favorite band.”
