Backstory:
Spicy Collapse was birthed in the dimly lit basements of Houston, Texas, in the summer of 2007. Childhood friends, lead vocalist and guitarist, Jack “Jalapeno” Harris and drummer, “Cayenne” Carter Williams, found a common love for music and hot peppers, thus birthing the unique moniker. Joined later by bassist “Bell Pepper” Benny and keyboardist, “Habanero” Hank, the band started creating their unique sound, a fusion of rock and funk with a dash of blues, wrapping it up in a fiery, high-energy performance.
Their breakthrough came in 2012 when they won the “Battle of the Bands” competition at the Texas Music Festival, capturing the attention of record label executives. Since then, Spicy Collapse has released three studio albums, each one gaining more recognition and fame. They are known for their provocative lyrics, intricate musicianship, and unforgettable live shows, becoming a staple in the music industry.
