Backstory:

Spicy Sphere was born in the energetic heart of Atlanta, Georgia in 2011. The band’s members – lead vocalist Jay “Jalapeno” Harris, guitarist Barry “Basil” Thompson, bassist Peter “Paprika” Jones, and drummer Tim “Thyme” Riley – were all college buddies who shared not only a dorm room but a mutual love for music with a kick. Drawing inspiration from their diverse musical tastes and the spicy meals they loved to cook in their shared kitchen, they decided to form a band named ‘Spicy Sphere’, symbolizing their audacious, fiery take on music that knows no boundaries.

Spicy Sphere started off by performing in local bars and college events. Their unique sound, a blend of rock and funk with a dash of world music, soon gained them a loyal fanbase. They released their first indie album in 2014 and since then, they’ve gone on to become a sensation in the underground music scene. They continue to set stages on fire with their dynamic performances, high-energy rhythms, and thought-provoking lyrics.
