Backstory:
Square Scope was formed in the heart of Manchester, England, in 2012. School friends, Liam ‘Lenny’ Leonard and Luke ‘Lucky’ Robertson discovered their shared love for music when they joined their school’s music club. They began jamming together, with Lenny on vocals and Lucky on the electric guitar. They later recruited drummer Jake ‘Jazz’ Thompson and bassist Oliver ‘Ollie’ Peterson, two talented musicians they met while performing at a local pub. From their humble beginnings, they started creating music in Jazz’s garage, which quickly became their sanctuary. After years of hard work and dedication, they finally got their break in 2016 when they were discovered by a local record label during a live performance, and the rest is history.

G C D G
Walking around these empty streets,

Watching the world beneath my feet,

Square Scope, we own the night.
(Chorus)

Through the prism, we see it all,
G C D G
Universe in a crystal ball,
G C D G
Stars aligned, the cosmos in sight,
G C D G
Square Scope, in the still of the night.

G C D G
Echoes of the silent sound,
G C D G
In the void, we are found,
G C D G
Chasing dreams, in the twilight,
G C D G
Square Scope, in the moonlight.

Through the prism, we see it all,
G C D G
Universe in a crystal ball,
G C D G
Stars aligned, the cosmos in sight,
G C D G
Square Scope, in the still of the night.

My name is Emily, and I am Square Scope’s biggest fan. I love their unique blend of alternative rock and indie pop, which stands out in the music industry. Their lyrics are deep, meaningful and resonate with my life experiences. Their song “Through the Prism” is my absolute favourite. It gives me a sense of peace and makes me feel like I’m part of something bigger than myself. I’ve been to all their concerts in Manchester, and their live performances are electrifying. Square Scope isn’t just a band to me, it’s an emotion.
