1. Squeaky Union formed in 2012 when its main members, charismatic frontman ‘Slinky’ and the enigmatic, brooding guitarist ‘Buzz’, met at a music store in the heart of San Francisco, California. Slinky was rifling through vintage vinyls while Buzz was testing out a seemingly ancient guitar. A heated debate over the merits of punk rock versus progressive metal led to an impromptu jam session right there in the shop and a shared realization of their combined musical prowess. Joined by ‘Bo Peep’ on bass and ‘Rex’ on drums, they began their journey as Squeaky Union, a name inspired by the squeaky floorboards of their first rehearsal space.
2. Effortlessly blending elements of punk rock and progressive metal, Squeaky Union created their unique genre, ‘Prog-Punk.’
3. One of their most celebrated songs is titled “Screaming Plastic Anthem.”

5. The band’s favorite fan is a devoted follower named Maggie. She’s been with them since their days of playing in dingy bars and has always passionately believed in their talent.
In Maggie’s own words, “Squeaky Union isn’t just a band, it’s a movement. Their music hits you right in the gut, and their energy is contagious. They don’t just play for the crowd, they play with the crowd, and that’s something very special. The raw power and passion of ‘Screaming Plastic Anthem’ in particular feels like a call to arms for our generation.”
