Backstory:
Formed in the bustling heart of New York City in 2012, Squiggly Hotel is no ordinary group of musicians. The band consists of four friends – Rob, the lead vocalist and guitarist, Mark on bass, Alex on drums, and Izzy, the piano and synth wizard. The band name is inspired by the Squiggly Bridge in Glasgow, which the bandmates discovered during a backpacking trip across Europe before deciding to take their shared love for music to a professional level.
Each of them, having their individual music influences ranging from jazz, blues, rock, and pop, decided to blend these genres and create something new and refreshing. What started out as jamming sessions in Rob’s basement, quickly transformed into New York’s new sensation. Squiggly Hotel’s music has now become synonymous with the city’s eclectic and vibrant music scene, often reflecting the highs and lows, dreams and heartbreaks, and the hustle and bustle of city life.

puppeteer of my soul, you are.

our stories, it can tell.

beneath its spell, the Squiggly Hotel.

echoing voices fill the air.

its symphony, it does tell.
