1. Backstory:
Stormy Corp was formed in the small coastal town of Olympia, Washington in 2012. The band members, lifelong friends Kyle Robertson (Lead vocalist), Scott Mills (Guitarist), Annie Gresham (Bass player), and Matt Dawson (Drummer), decided to channel their shared passion for music and the tumultuous Pacific Northwest weather into their band, hence the name ‘Stormy Corp’. The band started off playing gigs in local bars and cafes, building a dedicated local following. Known for their electrifying performances and emotional lyrics, Stormy Corp soon gained attention from indie record labels. They signed a deal in 2015, and have been climbing the ranks of the indie music scene ever since.
