Backstory:
Stormy Finger was formed in the heart of New York City in 2001. Long-time friends, singer Benjamin “Benny” Harper and guitarist Michael “Mickey” Russo were living the typical post-college, struggling artist life in the big city. Benny was a barista at a local coffee shop, while Mickey was a nighttime bartender. They’d often share their musical ideas during their free time, and that’s when the spark of Stormy Finger was ignited. As they started performing at local bars, they caught the attention of drummer Adrian “Addy” Thomas and bassist Richard “Richie” Simmons who soon joined the band, cementing its formation.

Stormy Finger plays a mix of blues rock and garage rock, with an occasional touch of soul.
