Backstory:
Formed in the heart of Silicon Valley in 2017, Strident Developer is a band that draws its inspiration from the world of coding and software development. The band members – Nicholas ‘Nix’ Turner, the lead vocalist; Kevin ‘Key’ Stern, the bassist; Rachel ‘Rach’ Lee, the guitarist; and Craig ‘Bug’ Mitchell, the drummer – all met at a gaming convention in San Francisco. They discovered a shared love for music and coding, leading them to form a band that combines these two passions. The members write their songs using coding language, embedding their experiences and stories as tech-geeks into the lyrics. They’ve gained a cult following within the tech industry, becoming an anthem for software developers and IT professionals.
