Backstory:
Formed in the small town of Oakdale, Pennsylvania, Strident Twig is a testament to the resilience of four childhood friends – Tom ‘Twig’ Henderson, Andy Johnson, Billy Carter, and Sam Rogers – who found solace in music amidst their mundane small-town lives. The boys collectively discovered their love for music in their high school music class and started jamming together in the Henderson’s garage. The name “Strident Twig” was coined as a tribute to their lead singer, Tom, who was often ridiculed due to his skinny figure but possessed a powerful and resonating voice. As they slowly gained recognition within their local community, they decided to take a leap of faith and pursue music full-time, setting their sights on the grand stages of the music industry.
