Striped Jar

Backstory:
Striped Jar, a band of four childhood friends from the small town of Benton, Kentucky, burst onto the music scene with their vibrant energy and unique harmony. Growing up together, Jake Evans (lead vocals and guitar), Sam Rodgers (bass), Max Wilson (drums) and Lily Parker (keyboard and vocals), found their shared passion for music in the quiet corners of their high school’s music room. They started out playing at local pubs and community events, attracting attention for their unexpected blend of music genres and the depth of their lyrics.

Their big break came when a music producer from Nashville, who was visiting town for a family event, happened to hear them perform at the annual community fair. He was so impressed by their talent that he decided to give them a chance to record their music professionally. Thus, Striped Jar was officially signed and their musical journey began.

Genre:
Folk Rock with elements of Country and Blues.

Title:
“Echoes of the Heart”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
[G] Down by the river, where the old [C] willow weeps,
[G] We often sat and shared our [D] secrets deep.
[G] Underneath the stars, in the [C] hushed silence,
[G] We’d strum our guitars and [D] sing to the distance.

(Chorus)
[G] Echoes of the heart, [C] whispers in the wind,
[D] Telling tales of love, and [G] where we’ve been.
[G] Echoes of the heart, [C] dancing in the night,
[D] Singing songs of us, under the [G] moonlight.

(Verse 2)
[G] As the years passed, and we [C] went our ways,
[G] The music we created, [D] never did sway.
[G] Through heartbreak and joy, [C] loss and gain,
[G] Our songs remain [D] our solace and pain.

(Chorus)
[G] Echoes of the heart, [C] riding on the breeze,
[D] Telling tales of hope, and [G] what we believe.
[G] Echoes of the heart, [C] etched in every line,
[D] Singing songs of us, frozen in [G] time.
