Song Title:
“Shadows of the Past”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
G Am Em G
In the cold city lights, we used to laugh and play,
G Am Em G
Now those voices are just echoes far away.
G Am Em G
The streets that knew our secrets lie in decay,
G Am Em G
As we search for the shadows of the past today.
(Chorus)
C G D Em
Shadows of the past, where did you go?
C G D Em
In our memories, you continue to glow.
C G D Em
You’re a silent whisper in the wind’s blow,
C G D Em
Shadows of the past, we miss you so.
(Verse 2)
G Am Em G
The laughter, the tears, the pain, and the joy,
G Am Em G
All hidden in the shadows, like a forgotten toy.
G Am Em G
We long to revisit, to live and to enjoy,
G Am Em G
In the arms of the shadows, oh boy oh boy.
(Chorus)
C G D Em
Shadows of the past, where did you go?
C G D Em
In our hearts, you continue to grow.
C G D Em
You’re a silent whisper in the wind’s blow,
C G D Em
Shadows of the past, we miss you so.
