Backstory:
Sugary Ambition was birthed in a small, artsy beach town on the shores of North Carolina. As a group of five lifelong friends, they found solace in music and camaraderie in their shared hometown of Wilmington, North Carolina. With a strong sense of community and mutual inspiration drawn from their coastal surroundings, childhood friends, lead singer Karla, guitarist Jimmy, bassist Lou, drummer Danny, and keyboardist Mike, decided to form a band; they named themselves ‘Sugary Ambition’ in 2015. The name was inspired by their collective desire to sweetly pursue their ambitions in music and make a mark in the world.
