Superb Bone
The story
Superb Bone formed in 2019 when four misfit neighbors in Cleveland, Ohio, realized they all had a love for vintage skateboards, obscure comic books, and noisy guitars. The band started in their bassist Jo’s cramped basement, where the walls were lined with superhero posters and the air was thick with the scent of pizza and anticipation. Initially, they jammed for fun, but their chaotic sound drew the attention of friends and, soon after, the local dive bar scene.
By the end of their first year, Superb Bone’s blend of gritty punk and experimental alt-rock had made them a local favorite. Their offbeat humor and electric stage presence quickly set them apart. Each show was a spectacle complete with wild costumes and banter, earning them not just fans, but a devoted community affectionately known as the “Boneheads.”

Name: Tony Ramirez
“I’m Tony, and Superb Bone are the realest band I’ve ever seen. I met them at a house show where they let me join in on tambourine for a song even though I’d never played before. Their music makes me feel like I belong, like all the weird parts of me fit right in. I’ve seen every show since. They always remember my name, and once they even dedicated ‘Splinters and Stars’ to me. Superb Bone isn’t just my favorite band—they’re my people.”
