Backstory:
Founded in the heart of Austin, Texas, in 2005, Superb Cycle is the result of the dynamic collaboration of four high school friends – Alex Carter on vocals and guitar, Bill Thompson on bass, Douglas Taylor on the drums, and Ryan Edwards on keys and backing vocals. Brought together by their mutual love for music and a shared dream of creating something unique, they began experimenting with different sounds in Alex’s garage, which eventually led to their distinctive sound. With a successful decade of concerts, tours, and albums under their belt, Superb Cycle is now a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.

Song Title:
“Treading Shadows”
Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[G] I walk in the night, [D] chasing a ghost, [Em]
A memory that’s [C] wearing thin,
[G] Under the moonlight, [D] an echoing toast, [Em]
To the love that [C] could have been.
(Chorus)
[G] Treading shadows, [D] in the dark, [Em]
Can’t outrun the [C] echoes in my heart,
[G] Treading shadows, [D] through the night, [Em]
Hoping someday, [C] I’ll reach the light.
(Verse 2)
[G] In silent whispers, [D] behind closed doors, [Em]
I try to forget your [C] name,
[G] But in silent pictures, [D] and empty corridors, [Em]
I find you’re still [C] part of the game.
(Chorus)
[G] Treading shadows, [D] in the dark, [Em]
Can’t outrun the [C] echoes in my heart,
[G] Treading shadows, [D] through the night, [Em]
Hoping someday, [C] I’ll reach the light.
